Internet
There is about 180 different social networking websites. I've only heard of a few like Blogster, Facebook, Flickr, Friendster, Hi5, Myspace, Stickam, Tumblr, Twitter, and Xanga. I don't think there are other sites that I know of that aren't listed on the website. These sites that I have heard of are all pretty similar. You can add/follow friends, upload pictures, blog, and just communicate with other people. The only different one is Twitter. Twitter is a simple status update of what is happening, but you can also communicate with other people. I use social networking websites mainly to keep in contact with people. The only social networking websites that I have are Facebook, Myspace, Stickam and Twitter. Facebook has really helped me out in contacting many people. I have facebook friends that I've known since elementary school and I still keep in touch with them til this day.

Wow friends that you known since elementary school?! Makes me wonder how when I have kids will they be connecting all about their ways on the internet! Yikes!
Facebook is great for keeping in touch with people you wouldn't otherwise see or hear from.
